Islamabad:A delegation led by Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) Khyber Pakhtunkhwa President Mohammad Ali Shah Bacha met with PPP Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari. During the meeting, the delegation briefed Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari about the upcoming Pakistan Solidarity Rally in Peshawar. The delegation stated that the rally, scheduled for May 26, aims to raise a strong voice against corruption, lawlessness, and rising extremism in the province.
The delegation further informed that the rally is being organized to demand the restoration of rights for everyone, from local government representatives to farmers. Additionally, a key objective of the protest is to express solidarity with 16,000 employees who were dismissed from their jobs in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. The delegation also confirmed that the protest rally will take place outside the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Assembly on May 26, where a large number of party workers and the general public are expected to participate.
Bilawal Bhutto Zardari attentively listened to the delegation’s briefing and issued directives to ensure the success of the rally. He emphasized that the PPP has always been at the forefront of the struggle for people’s rights and justice, and this rally is a crucial step in that ongoing movement.
