Lahore: Chief Minister Punjab Maryam Nawaz Sharif announced that tomorrow (Friday) 'Yaum-e-Tashakur (Thanksgiving Day) will be celebrated in Punjab, along with the entire nation, with full national spirit. She directed district administration and police to make full arrangements for the purpose. She said,"All ministers, assembly members, party leaders and workers should organize special prayers after Friday prayers across the province to express gratitude for the victory against Indian aggression." She added,"The entire nation will be grateful to Allah Almighty for His grace and mercy, and will pay historical tribute to its brave forces."

 

Madam Chief Minister said,"Fly the green crescent flag, recite Holy Quran for the martyrs, and pray for their higher ranks in the Heavens." She added,"Visit the shrines of martyrs, their homes, families and the benefactors of the nation to offer them gifts and respect." She flagged,"Party leaders, workers and public in Punjab should take out rallies to salute Pakistani Armed forces." She underscored,"Universities, colleges and school children should also participate in special ceremonies to thank their forces."
