Lahore (Special Correspondent) – Sohail Alam, Member Minority Advisor Council Punjab and Co‑Convener of the Standing Committee on Human Rights at the Lahore Chamber of Commerce & Industry (LCCI), has lauded Provincial Minister Sardar Ramesh Singh and Minister of State Khail Das Kohistani for personally ensuring their attendance at the ceremony of His Holiness Pope Leo.

Alam remarked, “By attending this sacred event, Sardar Ramesh Singh and Khail Das Kohistani set an exemplary standard of interfaith respect. One brother hails from the Sikh community and the other from the Hindu community, yet both transcended religious boundaries to honor the Pope’s gathering.”

He added, “Our Christian leaders were astonished to see these two non‑Christian brothers participate with such graciousness and devotion. Their actions send a powerful message that love and respect know no faith.”

Alam prayed that “God grant us all the courage and spirit to respect one another’s beliefs despite our differences and to strengthen national unity.” He also urged the provincial government to formally recognize such interfaith initiatives and to undertake further measures to promote lasting harmony.
