Punjab Governor Vows Continued Support for Kashmir, Lauds Pakistan Army’s Strength
LAHORE: Punjab Governor Sardar Saleem Haider Khan has declared that the sacrifices of the Kashmiri people will not be in vain, asserting that India must now recognize that Kashmir remains Pakistan’s "jugular vein." He emphasized that the Pakistan Army has only given a glimpse of its capabilities, referring to recent tensions as a "trailer" for what India could face if aggression continues.
Speaking at a public gathering in Abbaspur Tehsil, near the Line of Control in Azad Kashmir, Governor Khan condemned India’s alleged human rights violations in Kashmir, stating that New Delhi has failed to provide credible evidence to the international community regarding recent incidents in Pahalgam. The people of Abbaspur welcomed the governor warmly, and the event included special prayers for the martyrs of recent Indo-Pak clashes.
Governor Khan praised the Pakistan Army for its strong response to Indian aggression, stating that the armed forces have boosted the morale of both the nation and the Kashmiri people. He highlighted the historic success of **Operation Bunyan Al-Marsoos**, crediting the military leadership for its strategic execution.
Reaffirming Pakistan’s unwavering solidarity with Kashmir, Khan accused India of persistent brutalities against Kashmiris but expressed confidence that Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s policies would not break their spirit. He also noted growing support from Indian Sikhs, acknowledging their goodwill toward Pakistan and reciprocating the respect held for their community.
The governor stressed that all Pakistani political parties stand united in safeguarding the country’s sovereignty and stability. He issued a stern warning to India, stating that any further aggression would be met with an even more forceful response from Pakistan. His remarks underscored the nation’s resolve to defend its territorial integrity while standing firmly with the Kashmiri struggle for self-determination
