PM Shehbaz Sharif Holds Key Meeting with IMF Delegation,

Discusses Economic Reforms and Stability

Islamabad: Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif held a significant meeting with a delegation from the International Monetary Fund (IMF), led by Jihad Azour. The meeting was attended by Federal Ministers Ahad Khan Cheema and Muhammad Aurangzeb, Secretary Finance Imdadullah Bosal, Chairman FBR Rashid Mahmood Langrial, and other senior officials.  
 
During the discussions, both sides reviewed the progress of Pakistan’s ongoing IMF program in detail. They expressed satisfaction over the implementation of economic reforms under the IMF program and the positive outcomes achieved so far. The Prime Minister emphasized that, by the grace of Allah, Pakistan is now moving toward economic stability and sustainable growth. He reiterated the government’s top priority of accelerating macroeconomic and institutional reforms to strengthen the economy.  
 
The IMF delegation reaffirmed its commitment to supporting Pakistan’s economic reforms, stability, and development. The productive dialogue between the two sides has raised hopes for enhanced economic cooperation and new avenues for sustainable growth in the future.
