“We must foster the values of selflessness, love, brotherhood, and national unity in our attitudes and actions,” she said.
Lahore: Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) leader and former Member of the Punjab Assembly, Sania Kamran, has extended warm Eid-ul-Adha greetings to the nation. In her special message, she said that Eid-ul-Adha is a sacred occasion that teaches us the values of sacrifice, compassion, empathy, and unity.
Sania Kamran stated that we must draw inspiration from the spirit of Prophet Ibrahim (A.S.)'s unparalleled sacrifice and strive to reflect that spirit in our daily lives. "Today, more than ever, we need to become a source of support for the underprivileged and vulnerable segments of our society," she emphasized.
She urged people to not only perform the ritual of sacrifice but also make a firm commitment to care for the needy, the sick, the poor, and the destitute around them. “We must foster the values of selflessness, love, brotherhood, and national unity in our attitudes and actions,” she said.
“As a nation, we must stand together, share each other's burdens, and build a strong, prosperous, and compassionate Pakistan,” she added.
Sania Kamran called on the people of Pakistan to renew their pledge to cleanse their hearts of hatred and prejudice and to contribute sincerely to the development of the country and the upliftment of the Muslim Ummah.
She further reiterated that the Pakistan Peoples Party remains committed to the vision of a progressive, equitable, and welfare-oriented Pakistan, where every citizen has equal rights and opportunities.
Concluding her message, she prayed:
"May Allah accept our sacrifices, bless Pakistan with peace, progress, and prosperity, and guide us to become a united and resilient nation. Ameen."
