Implications of Operation Rising Lion
By Dr. Nasir Hussain Bukhari
Israel has no justification at all to launch a preemptive attack on Iran, pretending that it has destroyed Iran's nuclear capabilities in order to save itself. In fact, Iran does not have nuclear weapon capabilities to attack Israel. On the other hand, President Donald Trump has stated that Iran must sign a treaty to give up its nuclear program before any further action is taken. If the statement of President Trump and the Israeli attack are correlated, two important facts come to light. Firstly, Israel has the complete support and consent of the American government to launch such a large-scale attack in order to force Iran to sign a treaty to abandon or roll back its program. Secondly, the outcome of this Israeli attack is more perilous. Israel has ignored all the redlines of international law. The killings of top commanders of the Iranian Armed Forces and nuclear scientists not only constitute a severe breach of international law and norms of war, but they also set a dangerous precedent that "everything is fair in war." If this precedent is followed worldwide, world peace will no longer exist.
Israel has proven that its secret agency, Mossad, has deeper infiltration in Iran, as they claim to have launched drones from a secret base within Iran to target these officials. If this is true, then Iran urgently needs to strengthen its internal and external intelligence capabilities. Israel has a history of attempting to destabilize its neighboring Arab states since the 1980s. While they were successful in destabilizing countries like Iraq, Syria, and Lebanon, the proxies of Iran fought back and were able to restore peace and stability, particularly in Lebanon and Iraq. However, Syria recently fell to Jolani, which may not pose a threat to Israel. Despite this, Israel has shifted its focus towards Hamas and Hezbollah.
The critical analysis of "Operation Rising Lion" reveals that American support has allowed Israel to take any action it deems necessary, regardless of appropriateness. The role of Arab states in this situation is disappointing. Their silence on the situation in Gaza has emboldened Israel to cross all redlines. Perhaps Arab monarchs believe that Israel will not pose a threat to them, but this may be a mistake. Israel and the USA are employing a "divide and rule" strategy, as well as creating dissent within states through electronic and social media to further their goals.
If left unchecked, Iran may face further aggression from Israel, potentially leading to Arab states bowing down to American and Israeli pressure one by one. The attack on Iran's nuclear capabilities and the deaths of key military and nuclear figures are troubling for Pakistan. Although Israel is aware of Pakistan's capabilities, it has not abandoned its nefarious designs against Pakistan's nuclear program. If Arab states allow Israeli air force access to their airspace, India may collaborate with Israel in misguided ventures. While Pakistan's retaliation against Israel is understood, wise nations do not underestimate their enemies.
The repercussions of "Operation Rising Lion" are extensive and dangerous for world peace. Iran must retaliate with vigor to counter Israel and prevent further misadventures. Islamic and Arab states must reassess their policies towards Israel. Pakistan's response is timely and appropriate, and Iran should follow suit to establish deterrence in the region. An immediate diplomatic campaign is necessary to expose Israel and the USA to the world.
The recent events surrounding "Operation Rising Lion" have brought to light the dangerous game being played by Israel and the United States in the Middle East. The justification for a preemptive attack on Iran by Israel is weak at best, as Iran does not possess nuclear weapons capabilities to threaten Israel. President Trump's demand for Iran to sign a treaty to give up its nuclear program adds another layer of complexity to the situation. The fact that Israel has the support of the American government to carry out such a significant attack raises serious concerns about the disregard for international law and norms.
The repercussions of Israel's actions go beyond just the immediate conflict with Iran. The killings of top Iranian military and nuclear officials not only violate international law but also set a dangerous precedent for future conflicts. If other countries were to follow Israel's lead and target key officials in enemy states, the world could descend into chaos. The fact that Israel claims to have launched drones from within Iran itself shows the depth of their infiltration, prompting Iran to strengthen its intelligence capabilities.
Israel's history of destabilizing its neighboring Arab states, coupled with the support of the US, creates a dangerous dynamic in the region. The silence of Arab states on the situation in Gaza allows Israel to continue crossing redlines without fear of repercussions. The divide and rule strategy employed by Israel and the US, along with the use of electronic and social media to create dissent within states, further complicates the situation. The potential collaboration between Israel and India against Pakistan adds another layer of complexity to the already volatile region.
The response of Iran, Pakistan, and other Islamic and Arab states to Israel's aggression will be crucial in establishing deterrence in the region. Diplomatic efforts to expose Israel and the US to the world are essential in ensuring accountability for their actions. The reaction of China and Russia to Israel's violation of international norms will also play a significant role in shaping the future of the region.the events surrounding "Operation Rising Lion" have far-reaching implications for world peace. The actions of Israel and the US highlight the need for stronger international safeguards against preemptive attacks and violations of international law. It is imperative that countries in the region stand together to counter Israeli aggression and maintain stability in the Middle East. The world must pay close attention to the developments in the region and work towards a peaceful resolution to prevent further escalation of conflict.
