Climate Resilience and Empowerment in Focus at FGP Consultative Session with Experts
Freedom Gate Prosperity Hosts Thoughtful Dialogue on Climate Resilience and Economic Empowerment
Islamabad – To deliberate and explore practical solutions to some of Pakistan’s most pressing development challenges — including climate change resilience, youth and women’s economic empowerment, and inclusive growth — a special consultative session was held at the office of Freedom Gate Prosperity (FGP) on Tuesday.
The meeting brought together Ms. Ammara Durrani, a respected development sector thought leader, and the FGP team led by CEO Mr. Muhammad Anwar, along with senior experts including Mr. Farhan Javaid and Mr. Shafqat Aziz. The candid discussion focused on evolving risks and opportunities within the development landscape, and the need for cross-sector collaborations to drive sustainable impact.
Sharing her perspective, Ms. Ammara Durrani remarked, “It is encouraging to see organizations like FGP engaging in deeper reflections on how to connect field realities with broader policy frameworks. A meaningful community level engagement and engaging local media at district level would play crucial role addressing existing disconnect from policy to delverence.”
Mr. Muhammad Anwar, CEO of FGP, emphasized the value of such engagements, stating, “Partnerships based on shared understanding and openness are vital to address complex development challenges such as climate vulnerability and economic marginalization. Dialogues like this help shape our strategic direction for scalable and inclusive solutions.”
The session concluded with a mutual commitment to continue knowledge sharing, explore collaborative initiatives, and connect grassroots innovation with national development priorities to address climate adaptation, skills development, and economic opportunity for underserved populations.
