Islamabad, July 3, 2025 — Adviser to the Prime Minister, Rana Sanaullah, has said that Pakistan should align itself with Saudi Arabia and Türkiye on the evolving dynamics of the Abraham Accords. Speaking on Samaa TV’s political talk show “Nadeem Malik Live”, Rana emphasized that Pakistan must prioritize unity with the broader Muslim world, especially on sensitive Middle Eastern issues.

Pakistan should back Saudi Arabia and Türkiye over the Abraham Accords,” Rana asserted, adding that Islamabad’s role should be in line with the collective interests of Muslim nations. He stressed that Pakistan must remain closely engaged with its traditional allies in the Arab world.

Rana Sanaullah also highlighted Iran’s shifting posture, noting that “Iran’s strategic interest lies in moving forward together with Arab countries, Türkiye, and Pakistan.” However, he acknowledged that Tehran’s position has changed significantly in recent weeks.

On the issue of Palestine, the senior adviser condemned the ongoing violence, stating, “Great atrocities have taken place in Palestine; blood has been shed. Peace must prevail, and the bloodshed must stop.”

The remarks come amid increasing speculation over possible future expansions of the Abraham Accords — U.S.-brokered agreements aimed at normalizing relations between Israel and several Muslim countries — and rising debate within Pakistan over its potential position in the shifting regional order.
