Documentary on Pakistan Stock Exchange Attack Released
IG Sindh Ghulam Nabi Memon said that the documentary highlights the courage and sacrifices of the martyred and surviving police officers and personnel who bravely confronted terrorists during the stock exchange attack.
Karachi: A documentary titled “Pakistan Stock Exchange – The Police Story” based on the Pakistan Stock Exchange attack was premiered at a local cinema in Karachi on Saturday. The film has been jointly produced by Sindh Police and RAWA Documentary.
Inspector General of Police Sindh, Ghulam Nabi Memon, attended the premiere as the chief guest. The event was also attended by Additional IGs, Zonal DIGs, SSPs, AIGs, senior police officers, personnel, and a large number of people from various walks of life.
Speaking at the ceremony, IG Sindh Ghulam Nabi Memon said that the documentary highlights the courage and sacrifices of the martyred and surviving police officers and personnel who bravely confronted terrorists during the stock exchange attack. He added that the documentary produced by RAWA is of international standards and expressed gratitude to Brigadier Tariq and his entire team for their hard work in producing a film that depicts the reality with accuracy.
He further stated that many positive efforts of the police often remain unnoticed; however, this documentary has effectively portrayed the brighter image of the police. He noted that around the world, serials and films are made on law enforcement institutions to showcase their role and sacrifices, and this documentary is an excellent example of the same.
On the occasion, RAWA CEO Brigadier Tariq delivered a welcome address and thanked Sindh Police for their full support and cooperation. Commemorative shields were also exchanged between IG Sindh and the RAWA team.
At the conclusion of the event, participants, including the chief guest, shared their views and praised the bravery of the Sindh Police.
