Lahore, March 04, 2025…….The newly elected Chairman Executive Punjab Bar Council Sardar Farooq Dogar and a delegation of People’s Lawyers Forum Punjab called on Governor Punjab Sardar Saleem Haider Khan at Governor House Lahore. During the meeting, discussion were held regarding the role of the Punjab Bar Council and the improvement of the judicial system, including the welfare projects of lawyers.

Speaking on the occasion, Governor Punjab Sardar Saleem Haider Khan said that the Punjab Bar Council is a real institution of representation of lawyers, which has always struggled for the protection of their professional rights. He said that the improvement of the courts and dispensation of justice to the people lies in the better performance of the Punjab Bar Council and the People’s Lawyers Forum Punjab. The Governor Punjab said that the legal community plays an important role in the promotion of democracy in the country and the supremacy of the Constitution and law. He said that the legal community has played a key role in the political history of the country . The Governor Punjab said that the Pakistan People’s Party has always supported the lawyers' community. He said that the lawyers' community is a source of positive change in the society and their services should be appreciated at the national level. The Governor Punjab further said that the doors of the Governor House are open for the lawyers' community and they will be provided with all possible support.

The newly elected Chairman Executive Punjab Bar Council Sardar Farooq Dogar thanked the Governor Punjab for his guidance and support and assured that the Punjab Bar Council will always be active in resolving the problems of lawyers and protection of  their rights. The delegation comprised President PLF Punjab Raheel Kamran Cheema, Additional General Secretary PLF Punjab Mudassar Farooq Bhatti, and Secretary Information People’s Lawyers Forum Punjab Azeem Hafeez. Former Secretary Faisalabad Bar Association and members of various bars were also present on the occasion.
