CBFP Delegation Meets Zaki Ijaz, Reaffirms Support for FPCCI Leadership

Lahore: A delegation from the Christian Businessmen Fellowship Pakistan (CBFP), led by Saleem Shakir, Convener of the Standing Committee for Interfaith Harmony, recently met with Zaki Ijaz, the newly-elected Chairman of the Federation of Pakistan Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FPCCI), at his office. The delegation extended their heartfelt congratulations to Mr. Ijaz on his re-election and reaffirmed their full support for his leadership.

 

During the meeting, Mr. Shakir expressed the CBFP's unwavering confidence in Mr. Ijaz's ability to guide the FPCCI towards achieving its objectives. He emphasized the importance of fostering a harmonious and inclusive business environment where all members, regardless of their religious or ethnic background, can thrive.

 

In response, Mr. Ijaz expressed his gratitude to the delegation and reiterated his commitment to fostering a truly inclusive and supportive environment within the FPCCI. "We have always supported the groups, institutions, and colleagues who are actively contributing to the development of our country," he stated. "It is my endeavor to ensure that all of us can play our part in improving the economic condition of our people." Mr. Ijaz further emphasized that the doors of his office and his heart are always open to all members of the business community.

 

The delegation also included Iqbal Khokhar, Deputy Convener of the Standing Committee for Interfaith Harmony and Additional General Secretary of the CBFP, and Joshua Aslam, Field Officer of Khurshid Industries. 

 

This meeting signifies the strong and collaborative relationship between the CBFP and the FPCCI, both of which are committed to promoting economic growth and fostering a more inclusive and harmonious business environment in Pakistan.
