Lahore (Special Correspondent): An important meeting of the People's Information Bureau was held under the chair of Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) Central Punjab President Raja Pervaiz Ashraf. Various party leaders attended the meeting, including Nadeem Afzal Chan, General Secretary Syed Hassan Murtaza, Information Secretary Shehzad Saeed Cheema, Faisal Mir, Sania Kamran, Ayesha Nawaz Chaudhry, Bushra Manzoor Maneka, Ahsan Rizvi, Zeeshan Shami, Rao Babar Jamil, Naseem Sabir, Farrukh Basir, Basharat Ali, Umaima Iftikhar, and Usman Awan.

During the meeting, General Secretary Syed Hassan Murtaza introduced the participants and briefed them on the agenda. Information Secretary Shehzad Saeed Cheema highlighted the performance of the Information Bureau and discussed future strategies. A committee was formed to further organize and enhance the efficiency of the party’s information department.

On this occasion, Raja Pervaiz Ashraf emphasized the need to strengthen the party’s information department. He stated that the party's narrative must be effectively conveyed to the public through a well-structured strategy. He also underscored the importance of an active social media presence, asserting that political progress is not possible without a dynamic digital approach.

Nadeem Afzal Chan stressed the need to bridge the gap between party leadership and workers to effectively promote the party’s ideology. He directed that lists of party spokespersons, social media mobilizers, and representatives appearing on TV programs should be prepared to ensure the party’s stance is communicated effectively.

Sania Kamran proposed forming a dedicated team of content writers to structure and present the party’s narrative in an impactful manner. She further suggested that party leaders should receive daily guidelines on the party’s position to ensure a unified and strong message reaches the public.

Additional suggestions regarding the modernization of the party’s media and information affairs were also discussed, and consensus-based decisions were made during the meeting.
