Questions Raised Over Pakistan Peoples Party Central Punjab Information Bureau Meeting

Lahore: Finance Secretary of the Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) Central Punjab, Ahmed Jawad Farooq Rana, has demanded key information and documents from Naseem Sabir, the Office In-charge of the party's provincial secretariat, regarding Information Bureau's meeting held on March 17th.

In a letter addressed to Naseem Sabir, Ahmed Jawad Farooq Rana has requested the following information: the date of establishment of the bureau, the names of the initial office bearers, details of all meetings held so far, meeting minutes, a detailed report on the implementation of decisions made in initial meetings, and details of those who attended the March 17th meeting.

He also raised questions about whether the party's support staff (office assistants, cooks, gatekeepers, etc.) were included as part of the bureau, and why social media graphic designer Yasir Bukhari and the current Deputy General Secretaries were not invited to the meeting.

Ahmed Jawad Farooq Rana has demanded a response to these questions within three days.

This letter indicates a demand for transparency and accountability within the party's internal affairs.
