On 24 April, the Christian Businessmen Fellowship Pakistan (CBFP) and HARDS Pakistan jointly organized a one-day youth seminar on economic empowerment and technical training for marginalized communities at the Harvest Evangelical Church of Asia, Havelian Kachi Abadi, Johar Town, Lahore. Over 70 boys and girls attended the event, eager to develop their skills and build a brighter future.

Saleem Shakir, President of CBFP, noted, “Our youth have so much talent but often lack awareness of the opportunities available to them. Today’s seminar aims to bridge that gap.” He expressed gratitude to the seminar’s organizers: “Thank you so much, dear brother Sohail Habel, for giving us this opportunity. And thank you, Pastor Naveed, for your support.”

Seminar Highlights

  • Economic Empowerment Workshops: Interactive sessions on entrepreneurship basics, financial literacy, and job-market readiness.

  • Technical Training Demonstrations: Hands-on introductions to vocational skills such as basic carpentry, tailoring, and digital literacy.

  • Networking & Mentorship: Opportunities to connect with local business leaders, NGO representatives, and pastors committed to youth development.

Building Skills, Inspiring Hope

Participants left the seminar equipped with new knowledge and a network of mentors poised to guide them further. By focusing on both economic and technical training, CBFP and HARDS Pakistan are laying the groundwork for sustainable community uplift and social inclusion.
