Islamabad (APP) – President of Pakistan Asif Ali Zardari has lauded the security forces for their series of successful operations against militants in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and South Waziristan.

The President commended the extraordinary bravery of our armed forces after eight insurgents were neutralized during the recent Khyber Pakhtunkhwa operation, hailing their sacrifices in safeguarding the nation. He said the exemplary services rendered by our valiant troops over the years have been etched in golden letters in the annals of history.

Paying tribute to Naik Mujahid Khan, who embraced martyrdom during an operation in South Waziristan, President Zardari praised his patriotism and unparalleled courage, noting that the nation will never forget his supreme sacrifice.

Reiterating his resolve to continue operations until terrorism is eradicated from Pakistan, the President called upon every citizen to stand shoulder to shoulder with the security forces, bolster their morale, and play their part in the fight against extremism.

In closing, President Zardari prayed for the elevation of the martyrs’ ranks in Paradise and granted the bereaved families patience and fortitude, affirming that the entire nation remains united behind its armed forces.
