Islamabad: Chairman Pakistan Peoples Party, Bilawal Bhutto Zardari in his address at the National Assembly today said that he would like to reiterate the House and the Prime Minister’s condolence for those martyred in the Indian aggression that took place late last night. 

 

Chairman Bilawal said that the entire nation expresses solidarity with the bereaved families of the men, women and children martyred last night as a result of India’s cowardly attack. The martyrs were not killed in the course of war, but these losses were a direct result of the brutal aggression demonstrated by India. Chairman Bilawal said that only thieves and cowards attack at night. If they had even an ounce of courage, they would have announced their attack during the day. They should have faced our soldiers and our military, but they chose to target innocent children during the night. How long will we listen to the excuse of terrorism? This is not 2001 or 2003 anymore, the world will not listen to a handful of countries labelling those belonging to a certain religion as terrorists. 

 

Chairman PPP said that Pakistan kept listening patiently to these false and baseless accusations for two weeks. The PM challenged India to conduct a neutral investigation on an international level. This is because Islamabad knows that it was not involved in the cowardly attack. “The Kashmir cause is too noble, we have truth, justice and history on our side”, Chairman Bilawal expressed. Terrorism is a form of cowardice. Pakistan and the people of Kashmir do not need to deploy terrorism. We are standing with the truth, as per international laws and the UN Security Council resolutions. India is standing with fabrications and lies. We will expose India’s true face before the world, Chairman Bilawal resolved. 

 

Chairman PPP paid tribute to the Pakistan Air Force for giving a befitting response to the cowardly Indian attacks. He said that the five Indian jets were taken down by the Pakistani forces as mere mosquitoes. We will continue to respond to their aggression in the same manner. India may be a bigger country in terms of population and wealth, but as the proverb goes, “the larger they are, the harder they will fall”. Chairman Bilawal said that India has become barbaric and blind due to its arrogance, but the valiant people of Pakistan will make them see. We do not condone war and never have, but India should brace itself because Pakistan is yet to respond, and it will not do so during the night, or on the basis of lies, but as per international laws and UN Charter. Pakistan has the right to respond to this attack at a time and place of the country’s own choice. 

 

Chairman Bilawal said that every Pakistani, be it politicians belonging to the treasury benches or the Opposition, are standing with PM Shehbaz Sharif and the Pakistan Armed Forces. He said that Pakistan has reiterated its readiness for an impartial investigation. We wish not only for the perpetrators to be exposed, but for the creation of an acceptable forum to act as a precedent for potential conflict in the future. Pakistan is willing to combat terrorism not because of international pressure or India, but to save its own people and for the spilled blood of its martyrs to not be in vain. “Till when will India and Pakistan leave their fates to the whims of terrorists? Why should the acts of terrorists in Indian Occupied Kashmir or elsewhere give India the excuse to attack Pakistan and for us to reach the brink of nuclear war?”, Chairman Bilawal stated. Pakistan has the capability to respond to every one of the enemy’s attacks like it did last night. India is mistaken to be under the impression that Pakistan, like others, would stay quiet after such attacks. Pakistan Zindabad, Chairman PPP resolved.
