CBFP Delegation Meets Russian Ambassador to Explore Trade and Investment Opportunities

Islamabad: A delegation of the Christian Businessmen Fellowship Pakistan (CBFP) held a productive meeting with Albert P. Khorev, Ambassador of the Russian Federation to Pakistan, and Daniel A. Nevzor at the Russian Embassy in Islamabad to discuss avenues for enhancing business, trade, and investment cooperation between Pakistan and Russia.

The meeting focused on exploring new opportunities for economic collaboration, strengthening bilateral trade relations, and encouraging greater engagement between the business communities of both countries. CBFP members representing Lahore, Sargodha, Sialkot, Wazirabad, and Jhelum introduced their respective businesses and shared their interests in exports, trade development, and international partnerships.

During the discussions, Ambassador Khorev highlighted a range of opportunities available through Government-to-Government (G2G) and Business-to-Business (B2B) cooperation. He also provided valuable information regarding Russian language programs, international business expos, trade exhibitions, and other initiatives aimed at promoting stronger economic ties between Pakistan and Russia.

The delegation expressed appreciation for the practical guidance and insights shared by Ambassador Khorev and Trade Representative Daniel A. Nevzor, describing the meeting as an important step toward fostering future commercial partnerships.

CBFP also extended special thanks to Rt. Rev. Fr. Cyril, Basharat Yaqoob, and Sanawar Balam for their efforts in arranging the meeting and facilitating meaningful engagement with the Russian Embassy.

Speaking on the occasion, Saleem Shakir, President of the Christian Businessmen Fellowship Pakistan (CBFP), said the organization remains committed to promoting international business cooperation and creating new opportunities for Pakistani entrepreneurs and investors.

"The meeting has opened promising avenues for future collaboration. We look forward to building stronger business relationships, expanding bilateral trade, and facilitating mutually beneficial partnerships between Pakistan and Russia," he said.
